Introduction to Corporate Finance
About This Course
This foundational Introduction to Corporate Finance course focuses on the primary responsibilities of the corporate treasurer, teaching delegates how to utilize ratio analysis to evaluate company performance and project financial statements and cash requirements for both projects and whole companies.
This curriculum spends a lot of time debating how much debt is optimal in a company’s capital structure. Then it introduces discounted cash flow and demonstrates how to calculate a weighted average cost of capital to use as a discount rate for a specific firm or project. By the end of the course, participants will have all of the tools they need to value a company by forecasting its free cash flow and discounting it at a suitable rate.
